The Polymer Coatings and Surfacing Institute was formed in 1997 by a diverse group of polymer installer who wished to form an independent association comprised of specialty contractors, industry formulators, and professionals who specify polymer products. There has been no previous attempt to organize an industry representative group primarily involving the individual companies who formulate, specify, and install polymer products as architectural, corrosion resistant, and waterproofing materials.

We currently have a membership representing polymer formulators and contractors both in Canada and the United States.

Currently, we are scheduling one technical meeting each year.

The Board of Directors of the Polymer Coatings & Surfacing Institute is made up of both contractors and formulators. They will guide the growth of this Institute to be an industry representative, be independent of any single monetary source, and will not discriminate in the selection of their membership.
